hese are unprecedented times. On behalf of the entire Wentworth team,
I hope this note finds you, your family and your friends all healthy and
staying positive despite the circumstances our country and the World are
Tfacing. Recently, there have been a number of ‘Clap for Carers’ initiatives
aimed at pausing for a moment to celebrate the fantastic dedication of the NHS
workers during this challenging time. The Club has a large number of Members
who are active in the NHS community, and I would also like to take this opportunity
to thank them for everything they have done and are continuing to do today.
As you know, the Club has been completely closed since late March, after some
staggered closures during the early outbreak of the virus. We do still have a small
team continuing to carry out essential maintenance and security duties on the golf
courses and in the Clubhouses, and the Clubhouses have 24hr patrolled security,
as well as 24hr video surveillance to secure the Club, ready for our return.
With the Club closure in place, we are delighted to bring you the Spring issue of the
Wentworth magazine in a digital format. While the content has understandably
undergone some late changes, we hope you enjoy the Club update. Our Wentworth
