Haifa Chemicals

Haifa Chemicals is a big company in Israel, which has an ammonia silo in Haifa and thousands of
employees all over Israel. A few weeks ago (they) say in the government and the city of Haifa that
the ammonia silo is very dangerous to the people in Haifa and (they) should close it down. At Haifa
Chemicals (they) think about another option to bring ammonia to Israel, maybe in a ship, but the
government wants to think about a better option that isn’t dangerous. In the meantime, eight
hundred employees have to go home, but they don’t want to do that.
