A Test to Diagnose Autism

One of every pregnant woman’s biggest fears is to give birth to a child
with autism. Researchers at the Ben Gurion University have good news -
they found similar genetic characteristics in the six hundred and fifty genes
that cause autism. This will help them find more causing genes for autism
that doctors don’t know yet, and maybe even develop a test for diagnosing
autism before the child is born. There are many tests that (you) do during
pregnancy, and there are parents who prefer to have an abortion if (they)
see that there’s a problem on the tests. The Israeli research can help
parents who have a child with autism, and are debating over having
another child.
