                 Computer Games of the Past

Everyone who grew up in the eighties and nineties remembers Pac-Man,
Dave and the Super Mario brothers. In the Gaming exhibition at the Open
University (you) can see the first computer and TV games and learn about
their history. Refa’el Ben Ari is a computer games historian. In his
apartment in Rehovot there are games by Nintendo, Gameboy, books and
magazines about games and more. Every game has a story of its own, like
the first game (they) translated into Hebrew, or the game that Steve Jobs
developed before he started Apple. The kids who played Dangerous Dave
are parents today. Some of them still play today, and so (they) give in to
their kids when they hear, “Just one more game, Dad!”
