"The Aharon House”
There are many special houses in Baka. One of them is the Aharon house
on Yehuda street.
One evening, in Russia of the 60’s, Aharon, a Jewish- Russian artist sits
with his friends and says: “I want to live in Israel when I’m 40!". His
friends laugh and say that he is dreaming about things that cannot be.
But, in 1972 Aharon and his wife Succeed to make aliya to the land of
Israel. When they make Aliya Aharon is 40 and a week old.
They buy a house in Baka. The man living in the house before Aharon was
also named Aharon, so people call the house until today, "The Aharon
House”.
During the 80’s Aharon builds an artist’s colony with a friend, in Samaria.
Aharon lives some of the time in the artist’s colony and some of the time
in Jerusalem with his wife.
Aharon lived in the artist’s colony until 2005, when all the Jews have to
leave because of the disengagement.
Aharon is a successful artist all over the world. Also today, he does
artwork all the time. He invites everyone, with pleasure, to come and see
the special art in his home.
