Guidelines for T-Ulpan Sessions

Dear student,
We are happy to have you with us on a T-Ulpan trip. Your T-Ulpan kit
contains several tour sections. Each section is presented in 3 different levels:
Beginner's, Intermediate, and Advanced.

Beginner's level texts are written in present tense only.
Intermediate level texts include past tense as well.
Advanced level texts are written in "Normal Hebrew"

All the texts are accompanied by respective audio recordings.

Working with T-Ulpan Items
First choose the level at which you feel comfortable, yet challenged.
Then, before the T-Ulpan session:

• First get to know the site you are going to visit by going over the advanced
level English text describing that site (since it contains a lot more details
than the lower levels), even if you are a beginner in Hebrew.

• Then go back to the Hebrew text of your level and study the vocabulary and
the usage of it. Get assisted by the English translation of the Hebrew text.

• Read and listen to the item.
• Be able to say the item in Hebrew by looking at the English translation.
• Study the tour path and be able to get to your starting point from Ulpan-Or

offices.
During the T-Ulpan session discuss with your guide various T-Ulpan topics
and other associated topics using the new vocabulary.
