A Hundred Years Later
A hundred years ago Australian soldiers come to the old train station in
Zemach, Israel in order to help in the war against the Turks and the
Germans. Today the families of those soldiers come again to reenact this
battle, and they’re very excited. Not many people in Israel know this
historic battle, but in Australia (they) learn about it in schools. After all, at
the end of this war the British mandatory (regime) starts, after which the
state of Israel rises.
