What are Israeli Students Good at?

The Ministry of Education in Israel administers [lit. does] tests in the fifth and eighth grades every
year because it wants to know what is the level of students in Israel in math, English and science.
This year the Ministry of Education can be happy, because the tests are better than last year’s. The
grades in science, math and English are much better, even in schools where students come from
difficult homes. In the second part of the test (they) ask the students if they feel good at school –
(we) still have to work on that part.
