Netta at the Eurovision

After a long time at the top of the betting charts, this morning Cyprus’
representative with her song Fuego passed Netta Barzilai, who

repositioned in second place. If up until now public opinion was mainly

shaped by the video clips shot for each of the songs, among which Netta
Barzilai’s really stood out, as of tonight, it’s only the show that counts. In

the past few days since landing in Lisbon, our representative to the

Eurovision caught a lot of interest with foreign press. All in all six months
have passed since Netta Barzilai stormed into our lives, six months in

which she’s managed, among other things, to bring the famous looper into

every home in Israel, beat all the other contestants at the Rising Star to the
Eurovision, record, shoot, give interviews, cluck, and all towards the

moment of truth that is coming very soon. Now (we) can only hope that
the European audience will show (her) love too, and won’t stop her on her

way to the big final.
