Father and Son

This is a sad story about a father and son who went out hiking last weekend, as they already did
many times before, but didn’t come back. Ten year old Ilay and his father Omri set out along with
several other families for a hike in the Ze’elim canyon. Ilay slipped and his father Omri tried to save
him, but didn’t succeed. The doctors fought for Ilay’s life for another few days. Mother Shiri said
goodbye to the both of them in one day. (They) donated Ilay’s organs to eight children who’ll be
able to live now.
