The Train is Coming
After five long years of construction, now (We) can already see the end.
The fast train from Jerusalem to Tel Aviv will start working next Passover
and we’ll go to Tel Aviv or Jerusalem in twenty eight minutes, at a
hundred and sixty kilometers per hour. The train station in Jerusalem is
next to the International Convention Center, and in order to get on the train
(you) have to go down eighty meters under the ground, which will take a
few more minutes. This is a very big and complicated project, which cost
Israel seven billion NIS. But how much will it cost us passengers?
Minister Yisrael Katz promises that in the first two years we’ll only pay
half price per ticket.
