The Holiday of Love
In Israel (we) celebrate the holiday of love on [the date] fifteen of Av. In
honor of this day here are a few numbers you may not know: in two
thousand fifteen fifty three thousand five hundred and seventy nine
couples got married in Israel. Nine thousand and three hundred additional
couples chose to get married outside of Israel. The average age when men
marry in Israel is twenty seven and a half, and women marry a little
younger, at the age of twenty five and two months. The number of single
men and women grew a lot in recent years, and the city where you can find
the most single men and women is Even Yehuda. Behind it are Tel Aviv
and Kiryat Tivon. In the ultra-orthodox cities it’ll be harder for you to find
them.
