Act Out 40
Act out from English.
Sarah: You know, I was always in Israel (either) in the summer or in the
winter. I was never in here in the fall or [in the] spring. How are
Tsipora: the fall and [the] spring here?
[The] spring is very short, but also very pretty: Flowers bloom in
Sarah: all kind of colors, the weather is pleasant and people go touring. I
Tsipora: think [that the] people are happier in spring, and only the people
who are allergic to pollen [blooming] are sad.
Sarah: And [the] fall?
Tsipora:
Sarah: The fall in Israel is a time of beginnings: The children begin to
Tsipora: study at [the] school, and the Hebrew year begins on Rosh
Sarah: Hashanah.
And what’s the weather (like)?
(One) day is cold and (one) day is hot.
And how is it possible to know if there will be a hot or cold day?
It’s very easy: When I wear a jacket in the morning – I know it’s
hot all day, and when I wear a short-sleeve shirt – (it’s) really cold.
Bad luck! I think the grandchildren are coming. Let’s go. We are
coming…
