Exercise 7: In pairs, translate 8-10 lines from the dialogue into Hebrew row by

row, each translating his or her part. Translate the whole dialogue if you are up

for the challenge. Then act out the dialogue in front of your classmates.

14 Maybe he doesn’t have reception? Phone

18 He’s not answering. The call is transferred
to the voicemail.

19 So why don’t you leave a message?

21 I don’t know… Maybe he’s blocking me?

21 Blocking you? What are you talking about?

22 So to leave a message?

23 Yeah, sure!

24 Yael dials again: The call is transferred to the
voicemail.

Hi Daniel… It’s Yael… I’m at Tmol Shilshom,

25 and you’re not here. Could you get back to me?
