Israeli Photographs
David Rubinger is an Israeli photographer, whose photographs tell the
Israeli story. He photographs the biggest politicians in Israel: Ben Gurion
and Kissinger, Golda Meir, and Begin with Carter. He also takes photos
that are more personal: Shimon Peres in shorts and Arik Sharon with Lily
in the kitchen. Everyone knows his photograph of the paratroopers at the
(Western) Wall in sixty seven. He takes his camera everywhere and is
always in the right place at the right time. He dies at the age of ninety two.
