Family or Career?
For more than ten years Mother’s Day (has been) Family Day in Israel, but
do mothers and fathers really do the same things at home? According to
the AllJobs website, not really. Fifty five percent of men say that the wife
raises the children. Forty percent of men come back (home) from work at
seven PM, but only seven percent of women come home at this hour. Only
thirty seven percent of women bring (in) more money [home]. But there’s
room for optimism. The situation today is much better than our mothers’
generation, and it’s only improving.
