Dan: Hmm… Mom, something smells good
from the kitchen! What’s over there?
Mom: In the kitchen? Ah… There’s
nothing there.
Dan: What (do you mean) nothing? There’s
a cake there. I see a chocolate cake there!
I’m going to eat (it)!
Mom: No! Don’t touch the cake! Aunt
Chaya and uncle Chayim are coming today
for a visit, and the cake is for them.
Dan: Okay, so I’ll take just a little bite.
Mom: Don’t take a bite – not big and not
small!
Dan: Come on, mom, just a little bite… The
aunt and uncle won’t know.

Mom: Aunt Chaya will know. She always
knows everything.
Dan: Okay, okay, I won’t touch the cake.
But maybe our dog will touch it…
Mom: Dan, I’m saying again – don’t touch
the cake!

Dan: No. not me. But maybe our cat will
touch it…
Mom: Dan! If you take a bite now, I won’t
let you eat chocolate cake all year (round).
Dan: Okay, okay, I won’t take (any).

Aunt Chaya and uncle Chayim will take
everything, they are the most important.
Me? I’m just your son. I can go to sleep
hungry.
