Gadi: Okay. Mom, I’m hungry, buy me
something to eat.
Mom: Gadi, the food at the mall is junk.
Soon we’ll go [up] home and you’ll eat a
good meal.
Gadi: Okay. Mom, I’m tired…
Mom: Gadi, enough! Don’t be a nag. This is
the last time I’m going to the mall with you.
Gadi: You always say that.
Mom: This time it’s for real.
Gadi: You always say “This time it’s for
real.”
Mom: This time it’s really for real. You’ll
see: the next time I’ll go to the mall, you’ll
stay home.
Gadi: And if I (will) cry? Here, I’m crying
now…
Mom: Come on, Gadi, don’t make a
scene…
Okay, you’ll be a good boy,
and at home you’ll watch TV.
Gadi: Until 10 at night?
Mom: Until 10 at night, just do me a favor,
be quiet for a little while (lit. be a little
quiet).
