The Ideal Vacation
Israelis love flying abroad, between three and four times a year. A new
study reveals that it’s better to fly a few times a year for a short vacation
than for one long one. Dutch researchers checked what is the ideal
vacation and discovered that eight days is the best time for a vacation, a
time where we can really forget (about) work and have fun. After eleven
days we already start to get bored and miss home. Researchers asked
people to write every day how happy they are, if they have energy and if
they feel well. Most people felt the best on the eighth day. So like they say,
every good thing comes to an end, and even on the ideal vacation the end
comes after eight days.
