Who Reads Nowadays?
Many people say that today’s kids don’t read enough books, but in the case of nine year old Tamar,
Hillel and Talia and seven year old Ilay – this isn’t true. This year they read five hundred and fifty
one books combined. Eight million books are sold in Israel in two thousand eighteen, and there are
seven thousand and seven hundred new books. On Book Week, the smartphones move to the side a
little bit, and words get the focus. So who thinks books are irrelevant?
