Act out from English.
Part 1
Daniel: Shira! You’re very beautiful – both at work and in the evening.
Shira: And you’re very sweet – both at work and in the evening. What’s up?
Daniel: Everything is good. Oh, I never know what to say on a first date.
Shira: A date isn’t a job interview. You can say anything.
Daniel: Yeah, true… Ok, Shira, what do you want to do in life?
Shira: Wow… what a question.
Daniel: You see? I really don’t know what (people) say on a first date!
Shira: No, it’s a good question. I think a lot about what I want to do in life.
Daniel: And…?
Shira: I want to be an actress.
Daniel: An actress? How wonderful!
Shira: You think? Maybe you should speak to my parents.
Daniel: Already?! We’re just on our [a] first date… Why, do your parents think
you shouldn’t [don’t need to] be an actress?
Shira: Exactly. They say that an actor is hard work, and the salary isn’t good.
They say that a lot of actors don’t find work, that the market is very
competitive and that I’m not competitive.
Daniel: And that’s true?
