In the cinematheque – part 1
Daniel: Hi, Shira! Well, are you ready for ten hours of Tolkien?
Shira:
Daniel: Are you ready for a ten-hour date?
Very ready. Come, let’s go in. The movie is starting.
Daniel:
Shira: At the first break
Daniel:
Shira: Well, are you tired?
Daniel: A little, but it’s ok. There are only 6 more hours.
Shira:
What do you think about the movie?
Daniel: It’s very nice, but the book is better.
Shira: It’s always like that, isn’t it?
Yeah, I think so. That’s why I don’t always like to
Daniel:
watch movies that are based on books.
Shira:
Daniel: And which movies do you like to watch?
Shira:
It depends on my mood. Sometimes I like to watch
Shira:
Daniel: dramas, sometimes comedies, sometimes romantic
Shira: movies... sometimes also suspense or action movies.
Daniel:
And you?
I like comedies, but not slapstick – only comedies with
good humor. Usually I like dramas better, and… it’s a
secret, but I really don’t like to watch horror movies. I
(get) [am] scared.
Really? I don’t believe it!
Shshsh… It’s a secret.
Ok, I won’t talk. Oh, what’s the time? I think we need
to go in. The second movie is starting.
At the second break
What a beautiful movie! And the actors are excellent.
Yes, the actors really are good. Liv Taylor is an
excellent actress, and Orlando Bloom is also an
excellent actor.
(yawning) Yes… Oh, I’m tired!
Me too, but just a little bit.
