Infinitive form of each Binyan is the key to understanding the future tense
structure. Let’s review it now.

Infinitive Form

The infinitive form of Binyan Pa’al 2, has the following sound pattern:

LA…(vowel = OU or O)…

*(A)…OU or *(A)…O are the core sound pattern vowels

Example:

to live - ‫ָלגּור‬
to come - ‫ָלבֹוא‬

* The first vowel (A) is in parenthesis because it’s part of the prefix sound
