Searching the Trash
It all starts in a synagogue in Brooklyn, when a man who prays there
doesn’t find his Tefillin. He’s very sad, because the Tefillin (has been)
with him since (his) Bar-Mitzvah. At first he thinks that someone steals the
Tefillin, but then he sees on the video from the synagogue’s security
camera that the Tefillin just fall into the garbage bin standing there, and
then a garbage truck takes the Tefillin to a big landfill in another city. A lot
of people want to help find the Tefillin. Tens of ultra-orthodox people go
to the landfill and search through the trash for two days, until they find the
Tefillin.
