                     Red Means Unhealthy

Minister of Health Yaakov Litzman takes care of our health, and this time
in a new way: he asks to mark healthy and unhealthy food and drinks with
stickers – healthy food with a green sticker, and unhealthy food – the kind
that has a lot of salt, sugar or saturated fat – with a red sticker. So for
instance, ketchup, cola and sliced cheese get a red sticker, and wholegrain
bread, Bamba, as well as most of McDonald’s’ menu – get a green sticker.
Many Israelis have obesity problems, and at the Ministry of Health (they)
think that the stickers can help people buy and eat healthier food.
