                          Moishi’s Story

India’s Prime Minister’s official state visit to Israel had an unusual and
very emotional moment today. Narendra Modi made time in his busy
schedule for Moishi Holzberg, whose parents, Rabbi Gabby and Rivki
Holzberg may they rest in peace, were killed in the terror attack at the
Chabad house in Mumbai. He was two years old then, today he’s [already]
eleven. The Indian nanny Sandra was by his side still today. Then, during
that homicidal terror attack, she hid in the warehouse for twelve hours and
only came out when she heard Moishi crying and calling her name, after
his parents were no longer alive. After the attack she came to Israel with
him, became a citizen and has been here since, But Moishi already wants
to go back there. Moishi gave the Prime Minister of India a picture of his
parents and asked that he remembers them and what happened over there.
Sandra (was) very emotional by the closure and situation, but less excited
about Moishi’s desire to go back to India.
