           Dialogue 13 – At the Soup Place

Waitress:  Hello! Which soup do you want?
Yonatan:   What is there?
Waitress:  Vegetable soup, tomato soup with rice, onion soup, creamy
           mushroom soup with cream, orange soup. There are many kinds of
Yonatan:   soup (lit. soups), it’s a soup place!
Dina:      Wow, how many kinds of soup! I want creamy mushroom soup.
Waitress:  And I want… vegetable soup.
Dina:      No problem. Do you want bread with the soup?
Yonatan:   Sure! I always eat bread with the soup.
Waitress:  Is there bread without gluten?
Yonatan:   No… there is whole wheat bread.
Waitress:  Oh, so I don’t want bread, because I don’t eat gluten.
Dina:      Here’s the soup.
Yonatan:   Great, thank you.
           But with what do we eat the soup? Where are the spoons? Waitress,
Waitress:  waitress!
Yonatan:   Yes, what’s happened?
Waitress:  Where are our spoons?
Dina:      Oh, sorry, I’m new. Here are the spoons.
           On no, Yonatan, I have a teaspoon and not a tablespoon… You
Yonatan:   know what, it’s okay. This way I eat the soup slowly.
           No way!! A teaspoon is for ice cream! You need a tablespoon.
Waitress:  Waitress, waitress, is there another spoon please?
Yonatan:   Oh, sorry.
Dina:      It’s okay.
