Coming to Visit Israel
A special guest came to visit Israel this week – the Duke of Cambridge,
William Windsor. The Israeli sun served him well, he enjoyed the beach in
Tel Aviv, went up to the lifeguard post and even ate an Israeli watermelon.
Later he went to see a soccer game in Yafo between Arab and Jewish
children. From Tel Aviv he went to Jerusalem to meet the Prime Minister
and the President. At night he went to the home of Britain’s ambassador to
Israel, where he showed everyone how good he is at small talk. The
Israelis wanted to show the prince how much the country has changed
since the mandatory days and became a country with hi-tech and even
paparazzi. And for (those) who asked what William did every night – the
stadiums in Russia probably have more important things going on than
politics.
