What to do When it’s Hot?
On the hottest day in July, the Israelis are looking for a way to cool down.
At Zikim Beach, where there are thirty six degrees, Dror invites friends
and sets a table. In Jerusalem, kids go to water fountains near the Old City.
In Tel Aviv there aren’t many people at the beach, but Tal, a waiter in a
restaurant, loves working on the beach more than staying in an office with
the air conditioner, where it’s boring. In Eilat, with forty four degrees,
there’s nothing to do besides being in the pool all day.
