Traveling for the Holiday
The cold weather and fear of rain didn’t stop thousands of travelers from
going out to nature reserves, parks and national parks around Israel. The
sun came out already this morning and with it the many visitors who came
to relax and cool off a bit in water sites. The Hermon got a dose of snow
by surprise, possibly the last one for the season. Travelers didn’t miss
camping and rafting sites up north, and many visited the beaches of the
Kineret too, where they began implementing the ‘quiet beaches’
revolution, which forbids playing music at the beach, for the first time.
Moses and Pharaoh welcomed travelers at the Grottoes site at Rosh
Hanikra with holiday spirit. Even though the weekend was relatively
relaxed as far as the number of travelers, tourist sites expect bigger
numbers of visitors starting tomorrow.
