Static and Ben El in America

Just three years ago Static and Ben El were two people who uploaded clips to YouTube and hoped
that someone would see them. Today they are two of the most successful singers in Israel. Probably
someone in the United States discovered their potential, because a few days ago they signed a ten
years and seven albums contract with the major record company Capitol Records. The one
responsible for the connection between Static and Ben El and Capitol Records is Haim Saban,
another Israeli who was successful in the United States. He let his friend, who’s the chairman of the
Universal record company, listen to the song Barbie, and the rest is history. Static and Ben El are
already working on their first songs in English and hope to keep the Israeli magic in America too.
