Lighting Candles Together

Businessmen from New York, clergymen, and one Hassidic band went in honor of Hanukah to visit
distant Bahrain, a Muslim country where there are no Jews, and lit Hanukah candles along with
Muslims. The band played Hassidic songs and everyone danced together. This doesn’t mean that
now there will be peace between Muslims and Jews all over the world, but (we) can learn from
what happened in Bahrain that maybe religion can help promote peace, not just politics.
