A Big Brother
There are many soldiers in Israel who don’t have a family that accompanies them. Twenty four year
old Dylan came to Israel with the Masa Project and decided to stay and enlist. A is Israeli, but isn’t
in contact with her family. Shibli is a Bedouin from the north, whose family isn’t very happy he’s in
the military. When (you) ask lone soldiers what they miss the most, they answer that they miss
someone to be with them in everything they do. This is what the Big Brother NPO is trying to do. It
connects lone soldiers to people who were such in the past, and understand exactly how it feels.
