On the Road All Day
What brings people who never participated in demonstrations to go out to
the streets? The traffic jams on the road. All over Israel people are
complaining about the traffic jams. They say that Israel builds many new
apartments and buildings, and doesn’t think about building more roads as
well. In this situation people can drive for an hour and a half on a street
where (you) can usually drive for a few minutes. Mirit from Kfar Saba
started these demonstrations, but very quickly she saw that she’s not alone.
Up until now the demonstrating residents were able to stop construction in
all sorts of places, but maybe it’s time to think of a better solution.
