My Little Clown
Six months ago in Israel, there was a phenomenon of scary clowns running
in the street. It was unpleasant and not funny, but the stores are saying that
the scary clowns will come back on Purim. Many kids want to dress up as
something scary: a clown, a skeleton or a ghost with an interesting twist.
All of these costumes are sold out from stores, and if you can find them,
they cost more than any other costume. Despite the price, and despite the
fear, we’re going to see a lot of clowns in the streets this coming Purim.
