Zecharia Yefet is ninety seven years old, the last farmer in Bet Zait. Every morning he goes to take
care of his sheep, but this week he discovered that someone stole them. Zecharia worked for many
years, but then decided that he wants to realize his Zionist dream and raise sheep. A few days ago
farmers in Israel heard about what happened to Zecharia and decided to help him. Each of the
farmers donated sheep for Zecharia and they were able to give him a little more than half of what he
had. Now, every time Zecharia takes care of his sheep he’ll remember that like the sheep, humans
can also give from (their) heart.
