The Christians are Angry
This week something that never happens, happens – members of the
Church of the Holy Sepulchre close the church down and no one can come
in. why do they do this? Because the mayor of Jerusalem Nir Barkat says
that they have to pay retroactive municipal tax, and (they) also want to
take their lands in Jerusalem away from them because it causes problems
with real estate. Everything together costs the church seven hundred
million NIS. Church members say that no place in the world asks for these
things, and it hurts the status-quo in Jerusalem.
