The Story of Moshe Barzani and Meir Feinstein

Meir Feinstein and Moshe Barzani are young fighters: Meir from
Etzel and Moshe from Lechi.
They meet in prison and here they are good friends.
Moshe and Meir are sentenced to death at the gallows together. They
are able to request pardon from the British, but they do not want to
request anything from the British.

Moshe and Meir do not want to let the British kill them. They want to
explode a grenade in the room of the gallows, and to kill themselves
and the British that are in the room.
But then Rabbi Goldman says to Moshe and Meir: I am coming to
speak to you at the gallows. Meir and Moshe do not want to kill the
rabbi, and they explode the grenade in their room, and not at the
gallows.

Meir has a girlfriend, Rachel. Rachel is also a fighter in Etzel. Rachel
and Meir love each other very much and want to get married. When
Meir is sentenced to death, he says to Rachel: You need to get married
one day. And if you have a child, please call him Meir. And indeed
(truly), after several years Rachel gets married and calls her son Meir.
