Loves Painting

Ahuva Elisha is an eighty-nine year old ultra-orthodox woman who lives in a small apartment in the
Me’a She’arim neighborhood. But make no mistake, Ahuva, or Huvy, as (they) like calling her, is a
famous painter whose paintings sell all over the world for tens of thousands of dollars. Huvy started
painting landscapes when she was a teenager in England during the Second World War, and up to
today she tries to go back to these peaceful landscapes in her paintings. Huvy’s family is the one
who turns her hobby into a successful business.
