                     Taking Balloons Down

They arrive at the Ben Gurion airport every Friday night, equipped with
helium balloons, duct tape and endless patience. These are the Airport
Authority’s balloon removers, the workers responsible for taking down the
hundreds of colorful balloons that flew happily away towards the ceiling in
the arrivals hall. Still, it turns out that the job isn’t simple at all, in light of
the ceiling’s vast height, Airport Authority’s personnel were required (to
come up with) a creative solution: taking the balloons down using other
balloons. So, every Friday night, when the terminal becomes almost empty
from passengers, (these) workers come in equipped with large helium
balloons tied to a long string and wrapped in strong duct tape. At the end
of the day, the workers collect the balloons and bring them to special needs
children.
