Closest to Trump

Jared Kushner, Ivanka’s husband, is the man closest to the ear of President
Elect Donald Trump. This is how it was throughout the campaign, and this
is how it will be in the White House. Kushner, son to a Zionist-Jewish
family, doesn’t hide his love for Israel. He has been the driving force
behind the appointment of David Friedman to the United States’
Ambassador to Israel. Kushner also has a special personal connection to
Israel’s ambassador in Washington Ron Dermer. As part of his roles in the
White House, Kushner will handle trade policy, and of course the Middle
East and Israel. Kushner’s family has vast ties in Israel, and they also
donate to many causes in Israel and hundreds of thousands of dollars to the
Chabad movement. On the night of the elections, Jared and Ivanka even
came to the Lubavitcher Rebbe’s home in the hope that this will help
Donald win. Now, thirty six year old Kushner, who by the way will work
in the White House without pay, will have to say goodbye to the family
real-estate empire. He will also have to pass the legal hurdle of the
nepotism law.
