Shaul Tchernichovskyָ

Shaul Tchernichovsky is a very important Hebrew poet.
He is born in Russia in 1875 and when he finishes school he goes
to Switzerland to study medicine.
He works as a doctor (for) his whole life, and writes poems as
well. He loves the Bible a lot and Greece’s culture too. He goes
to live in the Greek Patriarch’s house near the San Simon
monastery. He dies in 1943 and is buried in Tel Aviv. Even today,
everyone remembers and loves Shaul Tchernichovsky’s poems.
