Rabbi Kook's House and the Museum of Psalms
English translation
Rabbi Kook was born in 1865 in Latvia and immigrated (makes
Aliya) to Israel in 1904. He is very Zionist and loves Israel very
much.
In 1921 Rabbi Kook is the first chief Ashkenazi Rabbi in Israel.
Rabbi Kook is a very modest man, he loves everybody and
everybody loves him. Rabbi Kook thinks that all the Jews in
Israel - secular and religious (frum) ones - should build the land
together.
The Museum of Psalms is located in Rabbi Kook's house. In the
museum there are 150 paintings, such as the 150 chapters of
Psalm book. The paintings in the museum are very nice, and full
of light.
