Rabbi Kook's House and the Museum of Psalms

English translation
Rabbi Kook was born in 1865 in Latvia and immigrated (made
Aliya) to Israel in 1904. He was very Zionist and loved Israel
very much.
Rabbi Kook was the Rabbi of Jaffa, then the Rabbi of
Jerusalem, and eventually in 1921 (became) the first chief
Ashkenazi Rabbi in Israel.
Rabbi Kook was a very modest man, he loved everybody and
everybody loved him.
Rabbi Kook wrote many books and built many Yeshivas.
Rabbi Kook thought that all the Jews in Israel - secular and
religious (frum) ones - should build the land together.
Rabbi Kook died in 1935.
The Museum of Psalms is located in Rabbi Kook's house. In the
museum there are 150 paintings, such as the 150 chapters of
Psalm book. Moshe Tzvi Berger painted the paintings during 15
years. The paintings in the museum are very nice, and full of
light.
