World Champions

Sagi Mooki and Saeid Mollaei are world champions in Judo and also good friends. In the last few

months, a movie about the special friendship between the Israeli champion and the Iranian
champion is in the works. A year and a half ago, Mollaei decided to escape from Iran. He did that
because the Iranian regime didn't allow Mollaei to meet Mooki in big competitions, such as the
world championship. A few weeks ago, Mollaei took another brave step. He arrived at a
competition in Israel for the first time. At the end of the competition Mollaei thanked the Israelis
