The Story of Tel Aviv
In Tel Aviv there is a great painter by the name of Nachum
Gutman. He makes a beautiful painting about the story of Tel
Aviv. In the painting there are 4 parts. In each part there is a
story from the history of Tel Aviv.
The green part: Jaffa. Close to Jaffa there are many trees of
oranges. In Jaffa there is a port and old houses.
The yellow part: "Ahuzat Bayit". People build Tel-Aviv. There
is a lot of sand, and there are not many trees. We can see
Gymnasia Herzelia, Herzel Street and Rothschild Street.
The red part: [we] see people working in Tel Aviv, people going
to a concert, people going to the sea…there is life in Tel Aviv!
There is also electricity in Tel Aviv – Tel Aviv is a modern city.
