Homemade Medicine
Hannah Marziano has been concocting ointments for years, from her
kitchen in Kefar Adumim, by the eye. Hannah, a nurse by trade, mother
of three and grandmother of two, used to take care of her mother, who had
diabetes, with these ointments. “As a daughter, as a nurse, I’ve been taking
care of her since childhood, from the age of ten.” After Hannah saw that
the homemade medicine she makes help the skin to recover, she decided
to take it forward. At a certain point Hanna realizes she has something in
(her) hand, and she developed a product at her expense and turned to Dr.
Orna Dreyzin, in order to upgrade it using cannabis. Nextage [company],
which incorporated cannabis into Hannah’s formula, realized the
potential. The company paid her hundreds of thousands of shekels and
gave her futures as well, which might be worth a great deal of money in
the future. “It’s a privilege, to bring this and get to a high place, to as many
people as possible.” This small exit by Hannah is very inspirational - for
true initiative, talent and a lot of determination as well, which can turn a
dream into reality. For her, it’s mostly her way to remember (her) mother.
