                                            Binyan Hitpa'el
                                          General Structure




               Infinitive Form


               The infinitive form of Binyan Hitpa’el usually begins with  ְת ִהְל and



               the last vowel is E. It also has three syllables.


                 So the sound pattern of Binyan Hitpa’el is



                                               L'HIT...A...E...



                               I...A...E... are the core sound pattern vowels


                 Example:



                                         to get dressed           שׁ   -     ַל  ֵב   ְ ת ִהְל



               Present Tense
               In the present tense the first letter  ל   of the infinitive is omitted and
               the second letter ה is replaced by   מ . The sound pattern remains the

               same.


               Example:

                        תובר                    םיבר                   הבקנ                   רכז
