How much is a Taxi to Jerusalem?
If you’ve ever ridden a taxi from the Ben Gurion airport, you know it’s
very expensive. Hadar taxi company was the only taxi company in Ben
Gurion until today. It agreed to lower fare prices and let other companies
in, but recanted at the last minute. The drivers say that the low price just
isn’t worth their while. All this happens on the holiday of Shavu’ot and
before the summer, when a great many people come to the airport.
Meanwhile, we’ll continue to pay the high price, and hope that something
will change soon.
