Yachimovich vs. Nissenkorn
Last week (they) elected a new chairman for the Histadrut – the workers
union in Israel. From the beginning these elections weren’t very pleasant.
Shelly Yachimovich and Avi Nissenkorn want to win, but they fight all the
time and talk badly about each other. On the day of the election, as they
started counting the votes, Yachimovich realized that she has a problem
and that Nissenkorn is going to win. She said that (they) should stop the
elections, because Nissenkorn’s people are forging votes. At first (they)
really stopped counting the votes, but later (they) continued. Avi
Nissenkorn won these elections, but no one is really happy that it was in
this way.
